A Weekly Wrap-Up of the Tampa Social Scene: Jingle Jangle Jam

Tampa Bay Times journalist Amy Scherzer writes about Eckerd’s Jingle Jangle Jam in her weekly social review. This annual event, now in its fourth year, is the signature fundraiser for Eckerd, a non-profit youth services organization headquartered in Florida. Henry “The Fonz” Winkler was the guest speaker for the evening and told the audience of his childhood with a disapproving parent and how it affected him as an adult. The event netted $250,000 which will be used to support Eckerd’s 35+ life-changing child welfare, juvenile justice, and behavioral health programs in eight states.
