The Florida Department of Education does not license, approve, accredit or regulate private schools in Florida. Section 1002.421, Florida Statutes, does require the Department of Education to establish a process by which individuals may notify the department of any violation by a parent, private school, or school district of state laws relating to scholarship program participation.
