Raising Hope Provides Help for Many Children in Need

Up to 250 children enter the child welfare system each month, and many don’t arrive with so much as a change of clothes, said Kelly Rossi, director of Eckerd’s Raising Hope, which is a program that allows the kids to shop for their own personal items. They accept donations and volunteers to stock their Rooms of Hope.
