Mr. Nathaniel Cooper has over 15 years of Job Corps experience. He began his career as a recreation specialist at the Turner Job Corps campus and continued his professional path at the Oneonta Job Corps campus in New York, Potomac Job Corps in Washington, DC, North Texas Job Corps in Texas, and Inland Empire Job Corps in California. In 2020, Mr. Cooper came back to his hometown to serve as Deputy Director of the Turner Job Corps campus. Today, Mr. Cooper serves as the campus Center Director.
As Center Director, Mr. Cooper works proactively to build, enhance, and sustain education and career programs and local and state workforce partnerships that help young adults get on a path to career success. Engulfed with the passion for changing lives, Mr. Cooper’s priority is to improve the lives of young minds by providing them an opportunity to reach success in their personal lives, while simultaneously increasing the workforce.
Mr. Cooper has a bachelor’s degree from Albany State University. In his spare time, Mr. Cooper is a member of the WorkSource Southwest Georgia Committee, The Rotary Club, The Kiwanis Club, The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, and the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals.
