Jobs & Training Eckerd Connects | Workforce Development Youth Services

Youth Services

Dedicated to educating and empowering young people to reach their full potential and connecting them with life changing career opportunities.

Eckerd Connects provides Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) services through contracts with the U.S. Department of Labor and local workforce boards that create a career pathway for youth by providing skills development, academic instruction, career & technical education, and access to the 14 WIOA Youth Elements.

Programs include the following:

– If you are attending school and between the ages of 14 and 21 years old, you may qualify for WIOA In-School Youth Services, which include skills training, paid work experience, and career exploration to help you plan for a successful future.

– If you are Out-of-School, between the ages of 16-24 years old, motivated to begin a successful career, and interested in taking the first step, we can provide you with the skills you need!

WHO QUALIFIES?

Youth that can identify with one of the following barriers:

Deficient literary skills

A High School dropout

Homeless, runaway
or foster youth

Pregnant or are a
parenting young adult

An offender

Have a disability

Lack necessary work
readiness skills

Low income
