The Young Adult Internship Program (YAIP) is a 14 week paid internship program for young adult ages 16-24 who are looking for hands-on work experience. The participants receive a year of follow-up support services at the completion of the internship. The program includes:
3 Weeks of paid Orientation to prepare them for their internship and assess their employability skills, support service needs, and careers of interest
Weekly workshops on workplace skills, financial literacy and leadership development
On-going guidance and counseling
Metro Card Assistance
Assistance with professional clothing, food, and other support services
