Eckerd Connects’ Workforce Development have partnered with Capital Area Workforce Board to provide justice involved adults ages 18 and above with an opportunity to obtain employment and pursue industry-recognized certifications which align with the Workforce Innovation and opportunity Act (WIOA).

Wake County Employment and Education Initiative:
– Reside in Wake County upon release
– Serving Wake County Detention Center
Roads to Reentry:
– Must reside in specific geographical areas in Wake or Johnston counties upon release
– Begin services 6 months prior release
– Referrals accepted from federal, state, or local custody up to 24 months
– Cannot have any sex offense charges
Pathways Home 2:
– Must reside in Durham, Wake, or Johnston counties upon release
– Serving Wake County Detention Center
