Foster Kids Get New Bikes for Christmas

Eckerd Community Alternative, the lead child welfare agency for the Florida Tampa Bay region, partnered with Tampa-based nonprofit onbikes to purchase 550 bicycles and helmets for children in foster care. Foster parents picked up the bikes in time for Christmas.

“They are going to freak out. They’re going love it,” foster mom Kia Snelling told a Bay News 9 reporter after receiving two bikes for her foster kids.
