From Foster to Famous: Bruce Oldfield

Known for designing couture occasion wear, Bruce Oldfield’s creations have been wrapped everyone from Princess Diana to Taylor Swift.

The incredibly successful designer spent his entire life in England’s foster care system – a fact he couldn’t be more pleased with.

“It was a happy and creative childhood,” wrote Oldfield in a Metro.co.uk published in 2013. “[…] It’s why I’ve been in business for 40 years. When changes happen, get on with it if you want to survive. Perhaps having the childhood I had made me quite tough.”
