Eckerd CFO receives honor from Concordia University
Eckerd Connects Chief Financial Officer, Randall W. Luecke will be honored by Concordia University — Ann Arbor. The faculty at Concordia University recently voted to bestow upon Luecke an Honorary Doctorate of Laws.
The Doctorate of Laws degree is conferred to those who have distinguished themselves in areas other than science, government, literature or religion. In conferring this honor on Luecke, the University is acknowledging his role in leading the organization through a very difficult period and developing, securing and executing a merger of Concordia University – Ann Arbor with Concordia University Wisconsin prior to his coming to Eckerd Connects in February 2013.
“I am humbled and honored to receive such an honor from Concordia University – Ann Arbor,” said Eckerd Connects Chief Financial Officer, Randall W. Luecke. “I have many fond memories from my time at Concordia and it is personally fulfilling to see how the work we did has put the University on a strong financial and academic footing for years to come.”
Luecke served as Chief Financial Officer of the University beginning in November 2010 and was also named Acting President of the University in June 2011. Luecke will receive his Honorary Doctorate at the May 20, 2018 commencement ceremony.
