A Group of Foster Kids Share their Love of Music

Recently, a group of foster children banded together to create The Heart of the Hero Band where they rock out to original songs written about live in the child welfare system. The band started with three sisters and has expanded to others touched by foster care, including Jordan the youngest band member who is just six years old and plays the drums.

The Heart of a Hero band will be performing at Eckerd’s 8th annual Jingle Jangle Jam.
