Joint Venture Partnership Set to Renew Job Training Services to Help Youth and Employers at Albuquerque Job Corps

(Albuquerque, NM) – Aleut Logistics Services (Aleut), an Alaska Native Company and certified small business, and Odle Management Group, LLC (ODLE), a woman and minority-led company, are proud to announce the two companies, under a mentor-protégé agreement of Aleut-Odle Training & Development, have been awarded the contract to operate the Albuquerque Job Corps Center effective April 1, 2021.

“We are excited to bring innovative education and career preparation services to help Albuquerque’s at-risk youth secure good-paying jobs to help employers find qualified, ready-to-work employees,” said Patrick McCredie, General Manager of Aleut. “The joint venture alliance with ODLE will bring unparalleled, new approaches to help New Mexico young adults who face insurmountable challenges improve their lives.”

The Albuquerque Job Corps Center serves approximately 600 students each year in a variety of high-demand job fields, including healthcare, construction (welding, plumbing, electrical) and advanced solar and thermal system installation. The Albuquerque Job Corps Center serves economically disadvantaged New Mexico youth, specifically in Valencia, Sandoval, Bernalillo, and Torrance counties.

Job Corps is a national residential career and technical education program serving disadvantaged students ages 16 to 24 with two Job Corps campuses in New Mexico – Albuquerque and Roswell. Job Corps provides safe and stable housing, basic healthcare, wraparound support services, remedial education, and vocational and technical job training.
