What is Eckerd's Supportive Visitation Program?

The Supportive Visitation Program (SVP) plays a crucial role in helping families involved with dependency services by providing a safe, welcoming, and home-like space for children to spend quality time with their parent(s). This compassionate approach meets families where they are, offering flexible supervision tailored to their progress.

Our mission is to nurture and strengthen family connections while ensuring safety, stability, and lasting well-being. Through personalized assessments, coaching, and ongoing support, SVP empowers families on their journey toward successful reunification and a stronger future together.

Areas Served

Services are available to families in Volusia, Putnam, and Flagler Counties, Florida.

What Makes It Unique?

Unlike traditional supervised visitation, SVP emphasizes growth, skill-building, and long-term stability. Visitation Specialists assess developmental milestones, coach families on positive parenting strategies, and provide ongoing support for up to six months after reunification—reducing the chance of recurrence.
