What is Eckerd's Central Louisiana Juvenile Justice Program?

Eckerd Connects’ Central Louisiana Juvenile Justice (CenLA JJ) program provides diversion services for youth engaged with the Juvenile Court. Since 2019, in partnership with the State of Louisiana Office of Juvenile Justice, our CenLA JJ team has helped young people build skills, confidence, and positive pathways while preventing deeper involvement in the justice system.

Youth receive individualized support including mentorship, standardized assessments, goal-setting, pro-social activities, and follow-up support after discharge. We focus on strengths, not mistakes, helping youth move from uncertainty to confidence and success.

What Makes It Unique?
