What Is ARNP?

Sponsored by Eckerd Connects and the State of Florida’s Department of Juvenile Justice, ARNP is a program in South Florida designed to support youth (ages 11–21) as they reenter their communities and build a brighter future. Whether a young person is on supervision (like Conditional Release or Post-Commitment Probation) or a Direct Discharge, the program offers guidance and resources tailored to each youth’s goals.

Why ARNP Matters

Reentry isn’t easy. Many youth leave residential programs determined to change—but they need tools and support to make those changes last. ARNP bridges the gap between intention and opportunity. Together with Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) staff, providers, and local partners, we’re committed to helping youth: Stay Connected, Stay Hopeful, and Stay on a Path to Long-term Success.

What Makes ARNP Different?

ARNP replaces the former Project Bridge (Transitions) program and adds new layers of support. Each youth is matched with a Navigator —a dedicated adult who helps them stay on track during the transition from residential care to independence. From day one of transition planning, ARNP works to:

  • Connect youth and families with services that meet their unique needs
  • Build strong community partnerships to create a safety net
  • Help youth pursue education, training, jobs, housing, and mental health support
  • Ensure that support continues after discharge, not just during the transition
