Foster care offers safe, temporary homes for children and youth who cannot live with their biological families due to crisis, neglect, or instability. At Eckerd Connects, we recruit, train, license, and support both traditional and therapeutic foster parents, helping them provide nurturing, trauma-informed care while working toward family reunification, adoption, or long-term stability. Therapeutic Foster Care (TFC) is specifically designed to support children with emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges.
