At 19, Charlie entered Eckerd Connects’ Central Louisiana Juvenile Justice Program facing a difficult home life, school struggles, bullying, and an arrest. With support from our team, he earned his diploma in just 5½ months, gained his driver’s license through a Success Award, and started working. Today, he’s planning to own his own business.

Children & family services strengthen families, prevent crises, and provide care for children and youth in need. Services include foster care, wraparound supports for mental health and addiction recovery, housing stability programs, and juvenile justice rehabilitation. Our goal is simple: help individuals realize their potential and, in doing so, strengthen the families and communities they call home.
