Seminole Lake Rotary Club launches The Red Party

SEMINOLE – Last year, Seminole Lake Rotary Club introduced the Red Sled initiative to share some holiday cheer with children in the local foster care system.

The brainchild of member Gerry Cachia, who joined the club last year, the initiative was a simple one: the club wanted to collect 2,500 toys and gifts to fill a giant Red Sled it built. These gifts would be donated to Eckerd Youth Alternatives, a nonprofit agency that works with foster care children in Pinellas and Hillsborough counties.
