Rapides Teachers, Officer Honored as Children’s Heroes

The non-profit organization Eckerd on April 23rd will recognize two Rapides Parish educators and an Alexandria officer who have “gone above the call of duty” as part of Eckerd’s third annual Gala on the Bayou.  Gala on the Bayou is a chance to recognize unsung heroes who have given their time, talent or treasure to make a difference in the lives of children and families.
