National Workforce Development Week by the numbers

Eckerd Workforce Development provides career pathways and support to adults, dislocated workers, and youth ages 16 and older.

Though we’re thrilled to celebrate National Workforce Development Week, our mission is never-ending. Here’s a few facts and stats to prove it:

• Eckerd operates 60 Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funded programs throughout the country, providing services in nine states and the District of Columbia
• We currently operate 46 WIOA youth programs and 14 WIOA programs serving adults and dislocated workers.
• We serve over 10,000 participants annually — around 6,500 youth and young adults, and 3,500 adults.
  
• More than 30,000 job seekers are served annually in South Carolina alone through our One Stop Operations.
