Tony Van Slyke is the Chief Financial Officer of Eckerd Connects. A self-proclaimed life-long learner, Tony has over 30 years of professional leadership experience in the areas of finance, accounting, banking, insurance, human resources, and information technology. Tony is a servant leader whose heart and passions align well with those of Eckerd Connects based on his innovative, supportive, and highly motivational approach.
Prior to joining Eckerd Connects, Tony was the Chief Financial Officer at Goodwill Houston for 12 years. During his tenure Goodwill grew from a $30 million to a $150 million organization, with the staff increasing from 400 people to 2,100. While at Goodwill Houston, he was named CFO of the year by the Houston Business Journal.
Tony received his Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Houston and his undergraduate degree from the University of Houston – Downtown. He is also a Certified Public Accountant. Tony has taught undergraduate and graduate level accounting courses, mentored students and young professionals and has served on various non-profit boards.
