Ms. Teresa MacDonald has over 27 years of Job Corps experience with 20 years in a leadership role. Ms. MacDonald currently serves as the Director of Human Resources overseeing and supporting the HR Managers at eight Job Corps Centers. Previously Ms. MacDonald served as a Human Resources Manager, Career Counselor, and Staff EEO Officer on the center level. In addition to her management oversight, Ms. MacDonald was assigned to train new HR Managers and participated in numerous corporate assessments. Ms. MacDonald began her Job Corps career in 1995 as a Career Counselor and takes great pride in the mission of the Job Corps program. Prior to working with Job Corps, Ms. MacDonald was a Social Worker in NYC working with foster care young adults who were aging out of the system and were transitioning to Independent Living.
Ms. MacDonald earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Secondary Education from the City University of New York, Staten Island and is currently pursuing her SPHR certification.
