Randy brings over 30 years of high level financial experience to Eckerd Connects, including financial leadership, operations, mergers and acquisitions and extensive experience leading complex organizations through various stages of growth and transformation. Prior to joining Eckerd Connects, Randy served as Acting President and Chief Financial Officer for Concordia University in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Previously, he served for over 15 years as Vice President, Finance for CSA Group and also as President of CSA International, CSA’s largest operating division. Under Randy’s leadership, CSA International achieved record revenue and margin, and expanded operations throughout North America, Europe and Asia. Randy negotiated several large acquisitions on behalf of CSA, and he served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for a joint venture organization with CCIC, an agency of the Chinese government. Additionally, Randy has served as Executive Vice President & COO of Saint Alexis Hospital Medical Center in Cleveland, as Senior Manager with Deloitte & Touche, as National Health Care Director for KMG Main Hurdman, and as Senior Auditor & Consultant with Ernst & Whitney.
He received his master’s degree from Lehigh University, a bachelor’s degree from McMaster University, and an honorary doctorate of laws from Concordia University – Ann Arbor. He is a Certified Public Accountant and has published over 70 articles on various accounting, finance and human resource topics in a variety of professional journals including the Journal of Accountancy, Healthcare Financial Management, Journal of Compensation & Benefits, Corporate Controller and Global Workforce.
