Mr. Pete Ford has gained 10 years of progressive experience with Job Corps, displaying a strong commitment to safety, student engagement, compliance, and program development. Throughout his tenure, he has served in various roles including Safety, Security and Transportation Manager, Corporate Director of Safety and Student Engagement, and Education and Training Director. Currently, as the Director of the Jacksonville campus, Mr. Ford continues to utilize his expertise and dedication to foster a safe and engaging learning environment for Job Corps students.
With 28 years of distinguished experience in law enforcement, including six years in the United States Air Force and 22 years with a metropolitan police agency in Kentucky, Mr. Ford has demonstrated exemplary leadership and problem-solving skills as an experienced investigator and supervisor. He has actively participated in community outreach efforts, collaborating with local organizations to enhance public safety and improve community relations.
Mr. Ford is an active member of several professional organizations, including the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE), the Fraternal Order of Police, and the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS). He has also served as the past Co-Chairperson of the Financial Investigators Security Officer Association of Central Kentucky.
He is committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and ethics in all aspects of his work. His dedication is focused on driving positive change and making a meaningful difference in the lives of those he serves.
Mr. Ford holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Central State University.
