Margaret Adams began as the Chief Development Officer for Eckerd Connects in April 2017, bringing with her 25+ years of operations management and major gift fundraising experience.
Before joining the team at Eckerd Connects, Margaret served as a major gift officer for the Emory University School of Medicine and the Woodruff Health Sciences Center in Atlanta, Georgia. During her tenure at Emory she raised over $30 million dollars for children’s health.
Margaret is also an alumni of Emory, where she earned her undergraduate degree. She later went on to receive her Master’s in healthcare administration from Mercer University.
A lifelong Methodist, she volunteers frequently at church, as well as with various other nonprofits. Margaret is married to Denson Adams, and together the couple is blessed with five children. They are also the proud grandparents of a baby girl!
