Gale has more than 25 years experience working directly with troubled and at-risk girls, having joined E-Nini-Hassee as a Youth Counselor in 1988. Over the years, she has held a variety of progressively responsible leadership positions at E-Nini-Hassee to include Master Counselor, Assistant Director and School Principal & Education Coordinator.
As a thought leader in gender-specific programming, Gale has served as a master trainer since 2004 for the State of Florida’s rollout of Principles of Effective Intervention, ensuring evidence-based practices are being utilized in youth residential treatment facilities throughout the state.
A Florida certified educator in grades 6 – 12, she oversees E-Nini-Hassee’s robust academic program and specializes in helping girls transition successfully back to their home schools, or prepare for college and vocational training. In addition, she has specialized experience in assisting former foster care youth 18- 23 with Florida’s Independent Living Scholarship Program.
Gale received her bachelor’s degree from Hiram College and a master’s degree in Education from Clemson University. She is certified in Reality Therapy/Choice Theory and holds a Master Trainer certification in Principles of Effective Intervention and Trainer certifications in Motivational Interviewing and Residential Child and Youth Care Professional.
