
Mr. Carl Adams started his Job Corps journey as a student at the Los Angeles Job Corps Campus in downtown, LA. He graduated in 2000, pursued higher education, and returned to Los Angeles Job Corps as an employee. After working in several roles, Mr. Adams transitioned to the Long Beach Job Corps first as a residential advisor and then as the deputy center director. While at Long Beach, Mr. Adams was a key contributor to the campus reaching a #2 in the nation ranking in 2014. Mr. Adams was awarded the 2012 Linda R. Jackson Award by the San Francisco Regional Office of Job Corps. This prestigious award goes to staffers who best demonstrate innovation, motivation, and determination. From a Job Corps graduate, Mr. Adams has over 20 years of experience working with young people and over 15 years serving in management roles.

The Albuquerque Job Corps campus is operated under the Aleut-Odle Training & Development (AOTD) – a Small Business Administration (SBA) approved mentor-protégé agreement between Aleut Operations, LLC, a Small Business Administration (SBA) certified 8(a) program participant and Small Disadvantaged Business, and Eckerd Connects. Together, AOTD specializes in managing Job Corps campuses holistic and comprehensive education, career training and job placement services for young adults between the ages of 16-24.
