KJCC attends Women in Business Luncheon
Kittrell Job Corps Featured in the Henderson Daily Dispatch!
At Kittrell Job Corps, we know the value of stepping outside the classroom to gain real-world insights and build essential skills. Recently, we had the privilege of bringing five of our talented female students to the Henderson-Vance Chamber of Commerce Women in Business Lunch and Learn event.
This inspiring event focused on farming and agriculture business practices and highlighted exciting opportunities for women in these industries.
Keshawna Wooden, one of our students, shared her enthusiasm:
“Learning multiple career opportunities through this Women in Business Luncheon has brought a new mindset to the recruitment of women in the agriculture workforce, while paving the way and bringing knowledge to myself and others. I greatly enjoyed the time I spent talking one-on-one with the many female panelists concerning entrepreneurship and its impact on our day-to-day.”
We’re thrilled that The Henderson Daily Dispatch covered this event and included Keshawna’s insightful quote!
