From Foster to Famous: Victoria Rowell

Victoria Rowell, 58, is an American ballerina, model, actress, author and activist.

When she was 16 days old, Rowell, originally from Maine, was surrendered to the state.

“I don’t think anyone aspires to be in foster care,” Rowell said in a 2016 interview with Oprah Winfrey. “But I had some exemplary care givers.”
