Across the country, the families we serve face enormous challenges: economic instability, housing insecurity, and a lack of access to basic resources. Many students walk into classrooms already feeling behind—not because they lack ability, but because they lack support.

That’s where Eckerd Connects steps in. Through workforce development, job training, family services, and more, we’re helping students and families rebuild stability and reclaim their futures.

And right now, you can be part of that transformation by donating to our general mission fund—with a special focus on helping children, youth, and families prepare for the new school year.

Your support helps us respond flexibly to the most urgent needs of those we serve, whether it’s school supplies, tutoring, clothing, transportation, or wraparound family support.

Ways to Give

Here are just a few examples of what your gift to the general mission fund can help make possible:

  • $25 – will help provide a backpack, markers, pencils, folders, and crayons for students.
  • $500 – provides school clothing, shoes, and uniforms for seven or more students.
  • $1,000 – $3,000 – greatly assists with providing laptops and calculators or afterschool tutoring to high school or college bound students.
  • $5,000 – or more will help us meet urgent needs and prepare students for a strong start this school year with transitional needs, dorm items, clothing, food, book fees, and more.
