Eckerd Honors EJ Bacbock with Director of the Year Award

Eckerd recently recognized Elizabeth “EJ” Babcock, Director of CenLa Wraparound Agency in Alexandria, Louisiana for her exemplary leadership in leading a passion-driven organization by awarding her the Director of the Year award. EJ has worked with Human Resources in addressing personnel issues and has received positive audit visits from COA (Coalition on Accreditation), Magellan (the Managed Care Organization), and the State of Louisiana thanks to her skilled determination and coordination with quality staff.

Each year Eckerd’s team of directors and leadership from 11 states and the District of Columbia meets in Florida to discuss the strategic vision of the organization. At the end of the three-day retreat, The Director of the Year award is given to the highest performing director that displays exceptional work as a 5-dimensional leader in the areas of Human Resources, External Relations, Quality, Finance and Growth and Transformation.

“EJ has played a critical role in Eckerd’s growth in Louisiana through her support of the newly implemented Acadiana WAA in Opelousas,” said Jodie Roberts Eckerd Operations Director. “Working with Eckerd’s external relations staff, she continues to represent Eckerd’s image throughout Central Louisiana through the yearly Gala on the Bayou event, which honors children’s champions. EJ’s willingness and relentless winning attitude truly demonstrate her commitment to Eckerd’s growth and success and why she is deserving of this award.”
EJ has a Masters from Northwestern State University and received her Bachelor’s from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. EJ is also a Licensed Professional Counselor.
