Charity Basketball Tournament to Benefit St. Petersburg Foster Children

Jason Bryant and Jimmy Baxter, along with All Heart TC, are presenting a 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament in December, proceeds of which will benefit Eckerd Community Alternatives and children in foster care in the St. Petersburg community. The family and community-oriented tournament, produced by New Era Thinking Group, LLC, will include 20 teams competing for a grand prize of $1,000 and will take place at the Wildwood Recreation Center.

Bryant and Baxter, known as JBx2, are St. Petersburg natives who played basketball together at Boca Ciega High School around the year 2000. Jason Bryant, PMP, is now a successful consultant and life coach. Jimmy Baxter plays professional basketball overseas and is the founder of All Heart TC, a track and field club dedicated to developing great scholar athletes. Both wanted to give back to their community in a way that advances the teamwork and positive energy of their favorite sport, while simultaneously supporting their community’s most vulnerable children.
