19-year-old works hard to improve interviewing, job skills

The Eckerd Connects Workforce Development allows participants to redefine whatever labels they thought were attached to them.

Upon entrance, participants are often known as high school dropouts, offenders and/or unemployed upon being enrolled – but they’re so much more than that.

Take Drucilla Gordon, for instance.

Drucilla, 19, began with our Deland, Florida office  in early July and completed her GED shortly after. She’s currently working hard to enhance her resume and learn valuable interviewing skills. Soon she’ll be enrolling at Daytona State College, where she hopes to pursue her interest in nursing.

Keep up the good work, Drucilla!
