10 News: Operation Prom Dress helps girls with financial need get dresses
The prom shopping season is here and we all know how important it is for girls to find the perfect dress.
For some, money isn’t a worry. For others, the cost can keep them from taking part in this high school tradition.
Eckerd Connects plans to make that dream come true for dozens of teen girls in the Tampa Bay area who are in foster care. Hundreds of dresses, shoes and accessories were donated so these girls will be able to say ‘Yes to the Dress’ for free.
